Kate: Quick London Question

Hi Kate, as I recall, you live somewhere near Shepherd's Bush...is that right?
Have you by any chance ever stopped in at Zain's Textiles. They advertise a lot on the Islam channel and seem to have an excellent selection of fabrics and pashminas, probably at better prices than the usual shops.
While I don't really need the prayer rug offered free with first purchase, I would like to check them out some day.
Thanks!

< probably at better prices than the usual shops >

I used to live near Bradford and Asian store prices were often higher than you could get elsewhere as long as you went to "little shops" rather than department stores.

But then there are/were a lot of textile mills in that area and you could often find the mills that supplied the more up-market stores and get their stuff at really low prices

Hi there, sorry I don't know it. I actually live between Kilburn and Queen's Park - not a million miles away, but I'm not fully acquainted with all the shops there. Hope someone else can help!

I work in Shepherds Bush, but I'm not really a sari kind of bloke. Well not much of one anyway.

What's the address, I'll pop in and look if I'm passing.

The Who are indeed Shepherds Bush born and bred. They're about the last good thing to come out of it.
