We'd like to go back to Wengen and also spend a few days in Kandersteg which we don't know. The scenery and easy walks seems to be different than Wengen.
Are we betterr off going early/mid June or late September?
Is the weather usually better in september?
In Wengen we stayed at the Alpene Rose a few times and liked demi pension.
Kandersteg seems to have more restaurant choice. Is half board a good choice? we are thinking of splurging on the Bernenr hof.
Receptive to other suggestions of charming villages with easy hikes!
