Just got back from Spain - with new photographs !
So far I only was able to finish the Madrid gallery (~1800 images take a lot of time to arrange, select and process), but much more images will be uploaded in the next few days and weeks, from Segovia, Olot, Zaragoza, Figueras and of course Barcelona.
Here is the Madrid gallery - http://www.pbase.com/olegis/madrid , please feel free to stop by and leave a comment if you like it
Have a nice day,
Oleg

Wonderful photos, like all of your others! I really like Madrid--our last visit was three years ago, almost exactly the same time of year. Looking forward to seeing how you've captured Segovia--another favorite. Thanks for sharing.

Thank guys
Ozarksbill, we had no safety issues in Spain - but we are used to guard ourselves in crowded places (watch the bag, carry no wallet, only small money in the pocket and the rest in the money belt etc). We had one accident in Barcelona - we took a guided walking tour in the La Boqueria market and the lady from our group ended up with her purse slashed (nothing valuable was stolen though).
As of tourists - there were plenty of them, but to our surprise they were mostly spanish people, especially in Madrid, Segovia and Zaragoza. We are used to big "touristy" places - but in these three cities we heard only Spanish around us almost all the time. In Barcelona the situation is different - a lot more foreign tourists.

okay-7 months later, but I just discovered your pictures:
They are absolutely stunning.
I hope you are selling your pics-or at least have a website or stock photography--you have a great eye-plus makes me want to go to all the places.
Gorgeous!
