Lisa is not that far off the truth and has aright to her own opinion.
-Londoners don't make eye contact with anyone unless you're not looking, and then they STARE!
-London is rather crappy if you expect a metropolitan, modern city. Its actually a city of villages.
-Londoners keep to themselves, as do most other expats
-The weather sucks which can "cloud" your judgment of the city.
-The tube is even worse especially as its very dirty & smelly with cloth seats, and people tend to crowd in like no tomorrow.
-Hellooo, its not just SOHO that has puke and piss from punters.
-the best thing about London, getting the hell out of there to visit other european cities due to availability of cheap airlines!

I think if you're going to bother visiting London, you should at least work out what to expect. It's rather naive to expect it to be an ultra-modern metropolis when OF COURSE it IS a city of villages.

Hellooo, its not just LONDON that has puke and piss from punters. Try every major european capital city, they smell too you know! The nice parts are nice, the nasty bits are nasty. This is true for EVERY city on Earth. Even "Thank god for..." Paris stinks in parts, while other parts are stunning.

The weather is English, not Londonish. That's something that can't be blamed on Londoners.

Anyway, you missed the point. Lisa's report was virtually factless, utterly pointless and hilariously devoted to prostitution. More power to her, and she'll be topped for a while to come I hope.

No, I'm not a troll!

Venice: I absolutely loved Venice! My husband hated it. He kept asking me why anyone would want to visit such a place with smelly, dirty canals and buildings that looked like they were about to fall down and were in need of a face lift.

The Accademia musuem was boring. Thankgoodness we were there for just 1/2 an hour. The glass making factories were okay, but we got ripped off. Back at home now I saw a similar glass bowl that was 1/2 the price.

We did a gondola ride and paid $70 for 40 minutes. The guy wouldn't even sing to us.

Good restaurants, but we didn't care for the many fish choices.

Hey Lisa

Good to hear from you again! NFI is no f****** idea I'd guess, although I'd never be so rude as to use the acronym myself. Still a pity you hated London with such fervour though. Maybe it was bad timing. Try getting out of the capital, if you ever venture back to our shores... there are red light districts in most major UK cities after all!!!
