Just for fun ... any insights on these 2 Provence and Piemonte hotels?

We've long since committed to this itinerary, so it's academic at this point, but I just wanted to see if anyone has any personal experience with either of these 2 hotels.

We leave Philadelphia on May 15, and are booked for one week at Chateau de la Vernede, about 3 kilometers from Avignon.

We then drive to Northern Italy, and have a second week booked at La Villa, about an hour from Turin.

We travel every year with another couple, and "Mrs. friend" always searches for the hotels. She has a perfect record for finding terrific places. There's great stuff all over Trip Advisor about La Villa, but can't find anything on the B&B in Provence.

I'd just be interested to hear any feedback on either hotel. Thanks.

I guess it wasn't much fun after all.

Don't know either one, but both look lovely!

Have you tried a text search for the hotel names here? Or hunted for reviews on slowtrav.com or tripadvisor? If not, it might be worth a shot.

Enjoy!

Oops. I see you've already been to tripadvisor!

For what it's worth, I took "chances" on a couple of places for which I could find no reviews on my last trip, and they turned out to be gems.

Hi, Larry...

La Villa is really nice, you will enjoy yourself there. They are where we send guests when we are booked.

Hi Diana,

Hi Diana, glad to hear the thumbs up. Sorry our dates didn't work out to stay at your B&B ... maybe next time.

Thanks,
Larry

Larry, NO PROBLEM!! I am just really happy you are still coming to Piemonte. When you are at La Villa, please feel free to stop by for a glass of wine!!
