I just found this site, but I've been to Paris 5 times. I had to respond to this thread.

The first four times I went to Paris, I went with a dear friend, and I had a wonderful time each trip.

Last summer, however, I could not find anyone to go with me to my beloved Paris, so I went alone.

Let me tell you that week alone in Paris was the best time of my entire life. I went alone, but I was never lonely. I met so many people, even had a few dates! Ah, the joys of being single in Paris, nothing better than that. The city is filled with endless possiblities for the single traveler.

I'm going solo again in 8 days, then solo again for three weeks in July. I wouldn't have it any other way.
