Hi everyone,

Wow! what an amazing response to your posting Bob. It is fantastic that you are sharing your experiences with people and as a traveller myself I know how much this can help those planning a trip.
I now live in this amazing city I call home, "Bella Roma". I am thankful EVERYDAY that I can stay here!! and not have to leave.

The reason I can is because I have a fantastic job as a tour guide here in Rome! Lucky me, I get to share all the wonderful and amazing things about this city with others.

So I would just like to say if anyone on this posting is interested in receiving any information of a general nature such as where to eat great icecream, how to spot pickpockets easily, what is safe to do and what is not, the Pope's audience or any other "stuff" at all please feel free to email me as I am happy to help and to make sure your trip is made easier and that it is absolutely incredible.

If anyone would also like specific information of the fabulous tours that myself and my colleagues offer, please email direct to:
[email protected]
We offer tours such as The Vatican City (incl Basilica), the Ancient City (Forums) historical centre including Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Venezia (home of Mussolini) and the Campidoglio designed by Michelangelo. As well we have day trips to Pompeii and Capri and a private guide service to many areas around Rome such as Assissi, Tivoli and Florence for example.

We are a group of young, professional and energetic guides who believe in "quality and not quantity" and so we do request that reservations are made. This enhances your tour as you will be guaranteed that your group size will not exceed 16 persons.

I hope some of you join me or one of my colleagues and allow us to truly bring this wonderful city to life for you and ensure that you return home with the most incredible memories.

We definately recommend that all who come to Rome go to the Trevi Fountain and (with the right hand over the left shoulder) throw a coin into the fountain to ensure your return to The Eternal City.

Bon voyage and I wish you all a wonderful Roman Odyssy.

I'm going to Rome on Aug 25 as part of a tour. I have one free night to eat out. Any good ideas? Did you have a super pizza? I'm also going to Florence and Venice later in the week.
