Just back from Paris - anyone have any questions?

Hi everyone! Had a fab time, sooo busy can't write a full report but here are the places I visited this time (2nd time):
The Louvre
Walk along the Quais
Notre Dame in the Evening
Rodin Museum
Marmottan-Monet Museum
Les Invalides
Champs Elysees/place de la concorde at night
A Walk through Montmartre (following Eyewitness Guide book) & Moulin Rouge
Sacre Coeur
Jardin du Luxembourg
Pantheon/St Etienne du Mont
Walk through St Germaine/Latin Quarter
Sorbonne
Eiffel tower - didnt go up this time!

We stayed at the Hotel Du Lys in the Latin Quarter 110 euro per room per night. Weather unbearable the first day and night (13th Aug) after that it was pleasantly sunny and hot.

We purchased the Paris visite pass for the Metro for three days which served us well, approx 36 euros for two passes. When we arrived, We took the Metro from the Gare du Nord to the Latin Quarter rather than taking a taxi, very quick and easy to get to the quarter, but its hot in there at the moment! phew.

Any questions, mes amies?

Why did you spend 36 euros for Paris Visit subway passes for 2 people for 3 days when 2 Orange Cartes would have cost you about 28 euros for a week's worth of touring?

Its what she gave us when I asked for 'three days passes for the Metro'. I can't argue when I dont know what the alternative is. Anyway, no good crying over spilt milk, although I did have a sneaky suspicion that there prob was an alternative ticket we could have bought.

Hi English
>......sooo busy can't write a full report ....< is no excuse.

You can write your trip report in short sections and post them individually.

No trip report, no dessert.

Ira,
PS.. see my trip reports from Prague, Memphis & New Orleans, and I think I did one for Rome too. I'm a busy girl, with all these reports!
