ira, I didn't say you were right or wrong, nor did I need any proof that jogging and running is scientifically, technically, physically (or whatever) correct .... I said that I use the terms "jogging" and "running" the same way. But, if proving you are right about everything, including arguments that don't exist, make you happy, then good for you.....

You may use whatever terms you want anyway you want, but for clarity of communication, it sometimes helps to recognize that different words have different meanings.
Jog, or run, to your heart's content.

I can't believe how a post that started out as a simple question regarding personal safety deteriorated into a mean-spirited attack on someone's lifestyle choices, personal appearance, age and health.
Perhaps if we were all required to post pictures, CV's and academic credentials, it would remove the safety of anonymity and would eliminate some of the personal attacks and oneupmanship.
