itinerary help /Spain
i am spending two weeks in the south of the spain. the first week we will be based in Mijas and I will probably head to grenada for a few days with my two boys. the second week my husband will fly in and i am wondering if the following itinerary is too demanding with 7 and 9 year old in tow. any advice is very much appreciated!
-1 day and night driving from mijas and exploring the pueblos blancos
-head to Sevilla for 3 nights
-1 full day and night in cordoba
-wake up drive to toledo half day and then head to Madrid
-two full days in Madrid

Go to Cordova while exploring the White Towns. Ditch the car and head out to Seville by train from Cordova. Train to Madrid from Seville, daytrip to Toledo from Madrid. Once you step away from the White Towns, a car is a liability.
The Cordova- Toledo (half Day)- Madrid is a bit too ambitious. First off, the Cordova-Toledo drive is quite long and boring, not good when traveling with two boys under the age of 9 (YIKES!). The Toledo-Madrid drive can be a bit demanding and not a great idea after a long drive- sightseeing.

You should not skip anything listed; it is doable. It is just that logistically it needs rework. Like I suggested before, explore Granada and Pueblos Bancos, on to Cordova and ditch the car. Train to Seville, train to Madrid, day trip to Toledo from Madrid. Plan some ocean days by the way. Stay at an apartment; check vrbo.com.
