Italy in June

We like to travel in May to hopefully avoid the biggest crowds and for milder weather but will be travelling in Italy next June (mid to late). Any suggestions on where to go that wouldn't be too hot or particularly crowded and of course that you like a lot. Thanks very much.

Anything in the Veneto/Po River Valley: Venice, Lake Como, Lake Garda, Verona, Asolo, Castelrotto, the dolomites (Cortina), Aosta, Vicenza, you might include a little of Switzerland.

Northwest Italy - Piedmont, Liguria and Val d'Aosta - are some of the nicest regions in Italy, wonderful food and wine, lots to do and see, not too hot in June, friedly people and not too many tourists (except Cinque Terre). Check it out.
