I was making a hotel reservation in Italy through the hotel's booking site. Normally, these sites have an English option but this one didn't. I went through the process anyway. When they asked for credit card information there was a statement which I'm guessing said the card would not be charged at this time, but I wasn't sure so I didn't complete the reservation. Then I e-mailed the hotel. They responded simply saying they were confirming my reservation without asking for anything further. I'm wondering if I should trust the fact that I actually have a reservation. Any feedback?

I agree. If a hotel makes is hard to reserve, it makes me wonder how accomodating they will be once you get there.
