I have a Capital One ATM Card good at all Plus locations.

CapOne told me I can withdraw up to $1,000 in any 24-hour period.

How many Euros will I be able to withdraw during one visit to a Plus ATM in Italy?

I had no trouble withdrawing 250 Euro from many diffent ATMs but was not able to get 300 Euros the 2 times I tried.

Call the customer service number on the card and find out for sure. Also, be sure to let them know what dates you will be in Italy.

We had both our accounts pre-cleared for large withdrawals. The ATMs in Italy still would not allow more than 250 euros per transaction and we tried many. So much for pre-clearing.

Pre-clearing with your own bank is still a good idea if you need a large amount the 1st day. You can try to make successive transactions at the same ATM (if there is a Euro/transaction limit, or there are numerous ATMs in just about every town or city from which you can withdraw 250Euros each

If you reach your home bank's daily limit you're SOL. My credit union phone rep told me they'd raised my limit to $1000/day, but I never had success getting more than $500/day.
