www.trenitalia.com for rail information on all stations and timetables. you can even book tickets.
alternatively www.raileurope.com to book tickets from the UK. However, they only let you book 90 days in advance, killjoys.
as for property i only ever use Iliostravel.com they have better impartial specialist knowledge than I have found in the forums of late. Why does everyone have an axe to grind?

"they have better impartial specialist knowledge than I have found in the forums of late. Why does everyone have an axe to grind?" Excuse me? What on earth are you talking about? What partiality have you found on this thread? And why are you posting all over the place pushing specific hotels and this ilios site?

I was shocked to read this posting. I do not know "where they are coming from"! I have gotten so much information from posting. I do not know what I would have done without all of your help. Is it possible to pull up the thread directly, without coming to this site first?

Thursdays, thanks for all of your help. I am now trying to print my posting for Italy, I Came, I Saw, I Crawled, and when I go to print it, the printer won't take it. Usually, I go up to the file icon and click on print. Guess I will shut down and start all over. Kind of wanted to keep it for my writing class.

If you can't print it from your browser, you could cut and paste it into notepad or Word or whatever word processing program you use. (Highlight, Edit, Cut)

Thank goodness, I found a way to copy this thread--if for no one but myself. I can use it for my writing class next Tuesday.

I hope that zeppole, kybourbon, thursdays (big time) and all of the others on Fodor take the time to read the posting by bfrac to read about my trip and provide feed-back. I really rely a lot on your opinions.

mhyde1 - yes I'm still around and posting. You can contact me directly through my website, www.wilhelmswords.com. Do you have another trip coming up? I'm off to France for a month pretty soon - busy with last minute stuff.
