The tinyurl is for an 'Al Jazeera' article's URL which had 247 characters.
I used AJ because it had the best picture posted so far.

I wonder what their story was to have such a sad yet romantic ending? Regards, Walter

Suicide pact? They really do appear to be locked in a passionate embrace. Reminds me of "Aida".

Thanks, Walter.

Hmmmm...And found 25mi from Verona :-?

Death was probably from disease, famine, war or accidential for 2 young people to die at the same time I'd imagine?

But Neolithic starcrossed lovers is also a possibility plus it makes a much better story. Regards, Walter

I showed that to *my* Valentine the other day, and he said "Hugging? How do you know they didn't strangle each other?"

StCirq, Now that is funny .

Article in this month's 'Archaeology Magazine' www.archaeology.org/0801/abstracts/valdaro.html

They are the remains of a man and woman, not older than 20 and they will not be seperated.
Regards, Walter
