Kim, I don't have ideas per say, but I can tell you what we are doing. My daughter is getting married in Florence. I have been researching for months to be sure of my information and of the requirements, most of my information came from other sites. There is a good deal of documentation required. I contacted a wedding planner in Florence (I thought the fee was reasonable) who has arranged for the town hall for the ceremony, the official, wedding dinner, flowers, photographer, and wedding carriage, and the requisite documentation translation. I am using tuscanhouse.com to rent a villa (also reasonable) for the families for the week.

Dear Kim

I got married in Tuscany last summer 99 and used a fantastic company to arrange everything from the villa to the ceremony, reception, flights and honeymoon. They took the stress out of the planning and our wedding day was wonderful. The web site is www.get-married.co.uk and my co-ordinator was called Vikki Cheesman.

Hope this helps and if you want anymore details please contact me.

Good luck

Helen
