Italian Translation of Harry Potter Book
Does anyone know where I might obtain a copy while in England? I thought of Blackwell's, since we'll be in Oxford for a day, but I didn't have any luck when I looked on their website. Are there any chain bookstores that carry foreign language editions? My daughter read Harry Potter in French and I know she'd like to give a try in Italian as she's currently taking it in college. (I'd go to Italy to pick her up a copy but that's not in the cards right now!)

If you'll be in London, head to Grant and Cutlers, which is probably the best-stocked foreign language bookshop in the country. Though much of the shop-floor is taken up with dictionaries, language courses and grammars, there is a good selection of foreign-language literature. Last time I was there I spotted editions of Harry Potter in Polish and French, so I imagine they would also carry editions in Italian. http://www.grantandcutler.com/
If you want to be sure, give them a call to find out what they have in stock, or whether they can order a copy for you to collect.

Oh this is good! Thank you all. I wouldn't bother going through the trouble of tracking down a copy except that I saw my daughter painstakingly read Harry in French while she was taking French classes in high school. Now she's on to taking Italian, and I know she'd be so happy to have another go.
