Would love recommendations for great Italian restaurants (that won't break the bank) in Paris. We are staying in the Marais but don't mind a good walk. We ate at Ponte Vecchio (Quai de la Tournell) a few years back and loved it (I want to make reservations but can't find their number anywhere on line).
We also need dining options for Easter Sunday...Does anyone know if Pizza Sicilia on Rue de Beaujolais is still open?
We love Moroccan and French restaurants, too but would like to break up our dinners with Italian options.

We ate at a pretty good Italian restaurant in November. Its called Pizza Tina and the food was delicious! I had a wonderful plate of gnocci and my husband had the pizza. We each had a salad and a dessert and were very pleased. The address is 73 Avenue Bosquet.

We heartily recommend La Cafetiere in the 6th Arr. (The name means coffeepot!)

I like very much Pizzaria Piazza Navona, at Av. Bobillot: start at Place d'Italie, and come down, looking at your left. Great desserts.

At the top of our list for next visit is L'Osteria, 10 rue de Sevigne, in the Marais,...if you go, please post as I would love to know if it is as good as reported...said to be one of the best for Italian food...also have heard it is very small and reservations a must..

Ponte Vecchio is my favorite restaurant in Paris! I never have made reservations and haven't had a problem getting in. They are closed on Monday.

We had a great meal at La Locanda Ristorante 8, Rue du Dragon

I've eaten a few times at Pastavino on rue Dauphin (very close to Pont Neuf). Excellent Italian food.

I had a fantastic lunch at Il Vicolo, 34 rue Mazarine, and I'm definitely going back next time I'm in Paris, hopefully in about 3 months time. I got the recommendation from TimeOut and I found another one on this website, which is an interesting source for Italian restuarants in Paris.

Mezza Luna on Rue Buci near Boul St. Germain in the 6e. And when you finish dinner, just walk a bit up Rue Buci to Amorino for the best gelato in Paris.

Inside the Musée du Louvre you have an expensive restaurant AND a self-service: not expensive, many options, rather good.

The Bastide d'Opio (sometimes also referred to as Bistrot d'Opio on these boards). It's in the 6th, on Rue Guisarde.

It's not Italian, but is Provencal French cuisine. Provence is the only region in France that prefers using olive oil to butter. The cuisine is lighter... lots of tomatoes, basil... yum yum yum. It made for a great break from the usual French dinners we were eating.

Bastide d'Opio was one of the best dining experiences we had in Paris. Friendly, slightly shy, sweet waiter, great kir royales, and OHMIGOD for dessert, get the chocolate fritter! (I posted a trip report on here with a more in-depth review)

Yeah are there good pizza options in Paris?

Le Golfe De Naples is reported to be the best pizzeria in Paris. Its on 8 Rue Clement in the 6th - great area with many other Italian restaurants around the corner on Rue Guisard and Cannettes.

There is a lovely Italian restaurant in Place Du Marche Ste Catherine (Marais). I can't remember the name but the food is good and service great.
By the way, Place Ste Catherineis one of my favorite squares in Paris. I real hidden gem. The funny thing is that my husbans seems to want to eat Italian food on all of our trips even when we are not in Italy! I want French food 24/7 while in Paris so he says it is French food! We are eating it in France aren't we? Not so funny at the time...It is worth the trip to find the square.

On rue Perronette- off of rue St Peres is La Perrone. Pasta with squid ink, wonderful artichoke dish, we have eaten there so many times and never had a bad meal..it is fun to watch the owner and guys behind the bar speaking Italian to each other, switch to French and English to diners, all while serving delicious food.
