Italian Cooking School - reviews please

Hi All,

My mother and I would like to do a cooking course for about a week in late September. I have looked at many and also read most of the threads here about cooking schools. We originally were thinking Tuscany (of course) but then started considering Sicily. There is a culinary tour for 8 days in Sicily with Active Gourmet that may be appropriate (although it only includes about 4 lessons). Has anyone been on this? Also looking at the following in Tuscany - choice driven mainly by availability:
Villa delia
Toscana Saporita
Tasty Tuscany.

Please give me any feedback about these or any other courses you have done. Really looking for first hand experience here.

Angela

I was not planning to go back to Italy but circumstances led to another trip in September with my mother this time. We did't end up going to a cooking school but did a food tour instead. There is a trip report.
