Istria: Villa Rosetta

I have been looking for a "nice" (upscale, not cheesy decor, good location) place to stay in Istria with my husband and small child late next April. Thanks to another Fodorite's website recommendation, I came upon a place called Villa Rosetta in Savudrija, just north of Umag. It looks nice but I can't find any reviews of it anywhere.

Has anyone stayed at Villa Rosetta?
This area is pretty far north. Is it a good base camp for seeing Istria?

Look at Villa Astra, San Rocco and Villa Palme, these are 3 good places we know of.

Although I cannot personally comment on that particular villa, I can say that my husband and I love Croatia so much it is in our plans to retire there. It is that wonderful. Amongst others I would recommend the villages of Hum, Bale, Groznjan, Grascice and city of Rovinj. Motovun was alright but jam packed with tourist buses.
