Is Verona Train Station near Car Rentals?

We are taking the train to Verona and then picking up a rental car to tour the Dolomites in Sept and we were wondering if anyone knew if there are car rentals near the main train station. We usually rent through Avis and according to their web-site there are 3 locations in Verona with one of them being at the airport. Would it be easier to take a bus from the train station tt the airport? I'm having trouble finding the exact location of Avis in the city.
Thanks

Hi Degiulio - Avis lists one as being close to the railway station (- Verona Porta Nuova) in Via Basso Acquar:

Hope this helps ...

Thank you, yes I did find it. Looks like they are only open until noon on Saturday which happens to be our arrival day. We'll be coming from La Spezia which is a fairly long train ride and I don't think we'll get there before noon. Seems odd to me that they would only have morning hours on Saturday. I did also notice that the taxes are cheaper renting from here as opposed to the airport. We'll have to work something out.

Degiulio - Do you have to rent in Verona? There are other Avis offices which are open Saturday p.m. till 19.00 - e.g. Trento, Bolzano ...

In-town car rental offices are often closed on weekends here in the US as well as abroad since they mostly cater to business travelers who, with any luck, are at home on the weekend.
