Those pictures are an attempt to match a Dennys menu. I went into one (once) so I know. We are just jealous. The British population has a never-ending but very successful quest for morbid obesity.

Weetabix has been around for decades but it has almost no sugar or salt in it and it's not processed so that's probably why it doesn't appeal. It has roughage and vitamins and things. There's something called Oatibix as well now!

oh dear. we britons have reached rock bottom now. i'm really embarrassed. we are now taking criticism of wheetabix personally and swiping back at those big, bad americans. we are pathetic...completely humourless and take ourselves far too seriously. it's just wheetabix!

most people don't take denny's very seriously. most everyone knows it's low brow and it's kind of a laugh in america. but wheetabix holds 3 royal warrents. your comparison is bizarre and proves we have absolutely no humour. i'm so embarrassed by you people.

Tap beer is always safe. As safe as wine. But safest is schnaps. Really.

For three thousand years, Europeans have drunk nothing but alcoholic beverages. Because they were safe.

Water was polluted. Milk was foul after a few hours. Juices were available only for a few weeks a year and, BTW, turned into alcohol after a few days anyway.

In Asia, people boiled water and flavoured it with coffee or tea.

Which strategy was more successful, alcohol or boiled water? Which is first world and which is third world?

I never drink tap water. Water is for washing oneself.

For taste? I think the water in Copenhagen is pretty bad. Not a big fan of London, either.

For safety? I'm not a worrier, but one might want to consider sticking with bottled water in Portugal.
