I have watched a TV program recently and according to that it is possible to stay at Hampdon Court for as little as 22 pounds per night. Does anyone know anything about it and if so how do I book.

Have you got the spelling right? "Hampdon Court" may not be the same as "Hampton Court" (the palace). I don't know but I've never heard that you can stay at the palace (unless you are Cardinal Wolsey or Henry VIII!). But maybe someone knows better?

There are 2 apartments for hire in Hampton Court:Fish Court(sleeps 6,aroud 1000-1300 pounds for 7 nights,depends on the season),Georgian House(sleeps 8,1100 to 1500 pounds for 7 nights)

Is this hotel "Hampton Court" part of the large American chain Hampton Inn? IF so, can you use their web page to book a room? Is breakfast included at Hampton Court like it is at Hampton Inns here in USA? I really like the plushness of Hampton Inns and wonder if the rooms at Hampton Court are as nice as the ones here. Yes, Mary, Hampton Court was the first Hampton Inn ever built. It is VERY plush and has a lovely garden out back!

Well I have searched and searched the Hampton Inn site and can NOT find anything about the Hampton Court hotel in London. I really want to try to book a room there for our upcoming trip to London. Do you know if the rates there are like those here, where we can get a very nice double room for around $59? If not, can you suggest any other hotels that are as plush as Hampton Inns and cost about the same?

Mary, the person that said Hampton Court is the same as Hampton Inn was making fun of you, which was not being polite, since you had no idea and you were only asking a question. Hampton Court is the huge and very grand palace of Henry VIII. It is not related to any hotel. You can stay there but you have to go through the Landmark Trust, as Kate mentioned. If the Hampton Court (of the Hampton Inn chain) is not available, try Windsor Palace in Windsor. It's part of the W hotel chain and quite nice for an old place, especially since they renovated after the fire (though the heating is still a bit archaic).

Just returned from there in Mar. The Hampton Court Palace/Hampton Court London. You may tour I didn't hear anything about staying right there, there is a hotel or 2 across the st. 1 is called Carlton Mitre email is: [email protected]. it's a lovely little area . Enjoy!<BR>

Last time I was at Holyrood was for the Queen's Garden Party (dont ask how I got an invite), it seemd a pretty nice place as you'd expect for a 'royal' place. <BR><BR>I wouldn't stay there, stay further up the Mile.

I understand the rear wing of Buckingham Palace has been converted to a cosy B&B, and Kensington Palace is taking in paying guests.<BR><BR>Reminds me, and this is NOT a joke: you can rent cottages at Balmoral Castle.
