Irish Ferries
Do the Irish Ferries that run from Rosslare to Pembroke normally run on time? We will be using the Ferry in June and have a tight train trip from Pembroke to Portsmouth, England

How much time do you have?
The traditional rail and sea route from Rosslare to Wales and England was via Fishguard where the railway station is very close to the ship (the port was built around 100 years ago for the sole purpose of linking trains and ships). At Pembroke, you need to get a bus or taxi from the ferry terminal to the railway station.
Ferries from Rosslare to Fishgard are run by Stena Line (www.stenaline.co.uk).

We checked on that but have already purchased ferry tickets to on Isle of Inishmore which arrives at 12:30 at Pembroke and Train leaves Pembroke Dock at 13:05 and Pembroke at 13:13
SUPER tight but there are several trains after I believed when we checked there was only one train that left Fishguard If we were late at all we would be stuck there???

Well after much thought we canceled our ferry from Rosslare to Pembroke (only a 15 minute Window) to get on the train, we lost 45 Euro in the deal, BUT we are on the stenna line express, leaves Rosslare at 8am arrives Fishguard at 10am and train does not leave untill 1:30 so that gives us plenty breathing room, We have to train all the way to Portsmouth
