Ireland Itinerary Help!
This is my third time to Ireland and we have decided to fly in and out of shannon. we like the smaller towns and prefer not to move around every night! We will be there in Sept so the weather should be decent. I have already been to Galway, Cliffs, Burren, Dublin, Wicklow, Killarney in the past two years so I don't need to see those places again on this trip: What do you think of the below itinerary:
Day1/2: Doolin and Aran Islands
Day3/4: Dingle Peninsula
Day5/6; Kinsale
Day7/8: Wexford ( this is what Iam questioning...can I roll this area into Kinsale?)
Day 9/10: Kilkenny
I also would have to drive from Kilkenny to Shannon airport and make a 1pm flight. I think it is a two hour drive?
many thaks for your help!

Hi kelbo,
I'm living here in Ireland and I've just seen your post, may I respectfully add a few of my thaughts?
I live in Cork so I'll speak about the south. Kinsale is indeed nice, and you could also take in Cork, see Blarney castle and Cobh.
Cobh is interesting as there is a great visitor centre on the Titanic(cobh/queenstown was its last port of call) and cobh also has a great cathedral.
Cork is nice small city and it has a nice university campus, well worth a look, its 2005 european capital of culture. look it up on the web.
West Cork is a real treasure, look that up also, but you might need a car.
I prefer west cork to Kilarney.
Hope i'm of some use,
regards,
Patrick

Hi,
I've been to Aran Island and highly recommend it as well as Dingle. In fact we liked Dingle better than the Ring of Kerry. We called ours the Ring of Dingle. Kilkenny was also a very great area too.
Hope you enjoy your trip.
