Ireland- how best to use 3 days

Hello Ireland experts. Can you help me finish off our Ireland trip? Three of us are meeting in Ireland April 28. We are already getting from Dublin to the Cliffs of Moher and then down to Dingle. We have a 9 day self guided walk of the Dingle peninsula. Where I need help is the three days we have after the walk and before we fly home from Dublin.

Should we spend one day driving the Ring of Kerry?
One day to see Blarney and Cork?
one day for Rock of Cashel, Kilkenny and Kildare and then end in Dublin?
something completely different?

We have time in Dublin at the start of the trip so no need for more time there.

Any help you can give me to best maximize those 3 days would be appreciated.

thanks

I love the Cork, Cobh, and Kinsale area. We are doing Ballycotton on the coast for five nights in between city visits. I think you could spend a couple of nights. Public transport by train and bus will get you to Cobh and Kinsale. We are interested in Midleton for Jameson and Ballymaloe Cooking school, inn and farm. You could also spend time in Galway. Great night life and dining but also day tour to Cong or Inishmor.

Are you staying the last night in Dublin before the flight?

My idea would have you reversing course and heading back north past Galway to Connemara National Park, Clifden etc. But you will have come from that direction and then spent several days enjoying the outdoors near Dingle. So I am reluctant to suggest that. The area around Wicklow is pretty. Personally I could spend three days around Killarney but you are not supposed to say that here.

We are staying the last night at the airport in Dublin but don’t want to get there until evening. We have a rental car. We much prefer small towns and scenery over cities. One of us wants to drive the Ring of Kerry. One wants to see a bog. One will go anywhere. After we walk the Dingle peninsula will driving the ROK be different or should we forget that?

Thank you for the responses!

Glendalough is a lovely town outside Dublin.

RIng of Kerry beautiful.

AVOID BLARNEY CASTLE - total tourist trap - you will regret going
