Hi all,

We are off this afternoon for a 3-week visit to Austria, Germany and France.

I'd rather not reveal the itinerary, because many nice folks will suggest better places to go and nicer things to see, and since this is the 6th revision, I'm not going to change it.

Thanks to everyone who has helped in the planning.

The Austrians are the funniest people in Europe. The Swiss love to go to Austria so they can find their sense of humour again. Our ability to laugh can get lost in all of our perfectionism.

Three wonderful weeks! That's great. Hope you and your lady wife have your best trip ever. You certainly "know the ropes" so no need to tell you to be careful. And I don't think you need to be told to enjoy yourselves, you seem to have that down to a science!
