Ira's back

Hi All,

My Lady Wife and I have returned from our visit to New England.

We had a great time.

I'll soon be posting a trip report on the US board.

Welcome back, Ira. I am waiting to read your impression, as I always like to read your messages.
I haave to make a confession: with my very poor English, the first time when I read the title of your message, I took it as "the back of Ira"!

Hi all,

Thanks for the responses.

Hi Adrian,

Even a native English speaker would have the same response. There is even a joke about it.

Someone says, "Ira's back".

Ira turns around and shows his back.

You were in NE and didn't come to the Boston GTG last weekend?

Hi ky,

We were up near Canada. NE isn't so small that we could fit in the GTG.

Nice to have you back.
I have just heard from a distant relative who has recently travelled through places with these names and I wondered if you have been there too!
Lower Mainland, Clearwater, Port Moody, Coquitlam.
She says the colours are gorgeous!
Looking forward to your trip report on US board.

Hi tiff,

Colors were terrific.

Hi Todd,

We were not in that region.

That is terrific Ira, there is such luck with planning a fall color adventure.

Last weekend it was 80 degrees here in MN, and yesterday we hit only a high of 37 with 40 mph wind, so I am afraid our colors have reached a screeching halt and all the leaves are falling at rapid speeds!

Looking forward to your and your LW's trip report on the US board.

Tod, the places you're referring to is basically Vancouver and some suburbs (exc for Clearwater), in Canada on the west coast.

Thanks Bowenlinda - I see she also says 'Back in BC' which I guess is British Colombia? I should have taken out a map as I am totally unfamiliar with the top end of the USA & Canada.

Hi Lily,

We were 7 mi from the corner where NH and ME meet Canada.

We decided not to cross the border because there is nothing there.
