Hi travel_chef-
Why don't you start with this link first:

And then here:

From your other post, it sounds like you want to travel to Interlaken from Geneva. It takes about 3hrs and involves 1 train change at Bern. For train schedules:

Interlaken is a city of about 15,000 located between two lakes. What is it like? Well, it's rather touristy and can be crowded during the high season and on weekends, especially when the weather is nice.
It's the gateway to the Jungfrau region and some folks like to base themselves here for excursions higher up. I'm not one of them. I'd much rather stay in Murren, Wengen or Grindelwald.
Interlaken can be reached from Zurich Airport via Bern - I can't remember how long it takes. Just check the train schedules as previously suggested.

Good morning, if you are staying in Interlaken would consider the location of the hotel. Interlaken has two railroad stations, Interlaken West and Interlaken East. For changilng of trains in order to go up to Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, Murren or
Wengen you must do this at Interlaken East. The location of your hotel to the
East station should be considered as it
takes about 20-30 min walk between
stations and about 5 mins by rail.
Trains leave Interlaken East and arrive at Zweilutscheinen and then the
train splits, front half going to Lauterebrunnen and the rear half to Grindelwald. Boats also ply the lakes of Thun and Brienz...Look in to the following sites.
