Interlaken to Torino by train - how to buy ticket with pass

Researched the connections and we can get to Torino from Interlaken (staying in Wengen) in 5:05 hours leaving Interlaken at 2 pm on July 16. I have not gone through the whole process of buying the ticket, but how does one purchase this ticket with a half fare card or Swiss card which we have yet to buy? Buy the card first? Thanks

Interlaken Ost dp 11.29 - Torino PN ar 17.10, via Lake Orta
Interlaken Ost dp 12.33 - Torino PN ar 21.10, via Grimsel - Nufenen (Post Bus Meiringen - Airolo)
Interlaken Ost dp 12.33 - Torino PN ar 21.10, via Sustenpass - Gotthardpass (Post Bus Meiringen - Airolo)

Neckervd, I saw some of your posts on other threads regarding train and bus travel. You seem quite knowledgeable. I am also researching other routes to Turin. What do you think about taking the train to Martigny and then the bus to Aosta? Overnight in Aosta, possibly, and then train to Turin?

I mentioned the 2 most straightforward connections via Gd St-Bernard Tunnel - Aosta in my post above: Interlaken dp 6.00 resp and 16.00 - Aosta ar 10.15 resp. 20.15.
If you want to travel via the famous Hospice at Gd St-Bernard Pass (8100ft), you may leave Interlaken at 11.00 and arrive at Aosta at 16.40 (June 14th until Sept 7th, 1/2 hr stop at Gd St-Bernard, bus change).

The medieval center, the roman excavations (among them a well preserved theatre) and the fine small museums are well worth to spend at least half a day at Aosta.

There is also a cableway from Aosta to Pila, a viewpoint from where you can see all the highest peaks of Europe.

Aosta is furthermore the base for the visit of the countless Aosta Valley castles.

Trains from Aosta to Turin about every hr. 2 hrs journey. Fare 9 EUR.

You mention a connection through Lake Orta, which I cannot find on the SBB site. How did you find it? What is the name of the station? Thanks,
