Your list is excellent, but I'll add a few ideas which may have already been given:
The gardens of the Rodin Museum for "The Thinker"--he can do what everyone else does and pose next to it for a laugh .
Walk through Champs du Mars and gaze up at the Eiffel Tower. Few first-time (or more) visitors fail to have their breath taken away by this.
Also, would he like the famous market streets--Rue Cler, Rue Mouffetard? The first time you visit, it almost doesn't feel real--more like you're in a movie of Paris life!
Does he have a digital camera? One thing that'd be fun is to encourage him, if possible, to download and send friends photos of himself at famous Parisian sites.
