Thank you everybody. Ladies win. The purpose of this was :
First: There are some studies, that show that women spend more time on the web, and this can be interesting if you have a web site, or is doing some e-business.
Second :The OP was posted in a early european hour, and the first answers are from europeans, and the second group mostly Americans. I wanted to test how Europeans and Americans respond to simple things, and the conclusions are very interesting.
Once again thank you for your help.
By the way...I'm in Europe.

Xxx said: <What strange conclusions you have drawn from this "survey".>

What concusions? The only ones I saw were that the E were probably the ones answering while most of America slept, and that most likely the Americans were the ones posting during daylight hours in the Americas. Not so strange.

to this last posts. The conclusion was (and if you hang out on this forum for a while, you understand what I'm saying), that when facing a simple questions so simple as : Gender ? in the "european hours" you get simple valid answers, while on "America" hours, most are stupid answers, like this "California has 16 gender codes. The US has 17. I guess the extra one is for politicians!"..or "I have brown hair. And in the event someone starts a thread on eye color--my eyes are blue/green."

So, a completely random American, when asked this very elementar question...can't answer.
This, is not a "profund study", this is just a sample, but it is very demonstrative.
So once again thank you.
One last thing. Jim...are you locked inside a closet ? you don't seem to know yet if you're a boy or a girl...maybe you got some doubts about it.

I replied almost 3 hours after the first post, so not sure if I'm considered European or American.
I can assure you, I'm a very, very long away from the America's and even further away from Europe.
All this survey suggests, is that a number of us, have nothing else better to do, at the moment. And we like checking out travel boards and I'll now go and do something more useful. ciao
