Oh, er- As for the actual addiction... Well, we'd both need to be discussing just when I'd stop drinking coffee, before I try to get him away from his source of caffeine.
The stuff is peculiar. I have heard many people say that it's not just the caffeine & sugar that keeps them drinking it... Fact or Fiction, I don't know...

Don't count on finding it. I may have seenit once but you will never see it in shops in major cities. Coke is probably more popular. Tell him he will be so busy enjoying himself he will forget. It's really bad if he canb't live without it....must be good but I have not tasted it in years!
Mi Wadi and the barley waters are supposed to be watered down. They are packed with sugar and not the most healthy drinks. There are lots of additives in them that worry me.
Good luck breaking the MD habit!

I know Mountain Dew is not widely available in Europe, but it is in my native Finland. They have a website: http://www.pepsi.fi/mountaindew/ You can find Mountain Dew here in about every single supermarket. The thing about Finland is that it's a small country (populationwise) and therefore relatively inexpensive to do ?test-marketing? for new product launches. PepsiCo used Finland as the very first market to test PepsiMax some years ago and maybe they are doing the same with Dew. Who knows, but here we can have it. I personally don't like the taste at all, but that's just my opinion.
