Input Needed - Selecting Paris Apt.
I posted earlier in the year for info for my niece, who was going to the Sorbonne for the spring semester. Now, I'm going to visit her during the first week of May and would appreciate input on 3 apartment options. She's suggested arr 1-4 and the ones I've narrowed it down to are:
http://www.vrbo.com/31360
http://www.vrbo.com/4036
http://www.vrbo.com/5595
I was looking to spend about 100 euros/night at most and would appreciate ANY and ALL comments concerning the areas, apartments, etc., or any other suggestions about housing!
Many thanks...and I promise to post a report when I'm back.

I would take the 1st one due to its proximity to everything that is "Paris". I think the price is fair, and the location can't be beat! Rue St. Honore is great, safe day and night. What I noticed is that it does not mention if utillites are included in the price, which is something you should clarify.
The other two are in the Marais disctrict, which is on the Left Bank, the more bohemian, less stuffy, choice. Just a bit of a walk to the Louvre, Place Vandome, etc.

I'm pretty sure that those apartments (or at leas the marais apartments) are listed on www.rentparis.com I don't know if the prices are any different, but the presentation on the website is better. I have used rentparis in the past with satisfaction.

I have rented apartments the last five times I have been there; some with my girlfriends and some with my husband. The 2 companies that I use are www.rothray.com and www.iloveparisapartments.com
I have stayed in the Marais area, right bank, left bank, etc. Just be sure you check elevator status, a/c if you need it. I have had wonderful success with both of them. Have fun in the wonderful city of Paris
