Input Appreciated
Hello,
I am new here and I am planning a trip to Europe.
We are going to London, Belgium, France, and we have about 5 days leftover.
We were thinking of Going to St. Petersburg & Russia but we don't know if time will permit.
We are wondering if the community had any suggestions on where we should go.
We have already been to Germany, Amsterdam, Czech Republic, Spain, Italy, Austra so if you could suggest other countries than that I would appreciate it.
We are open to anything and are not very close minded at all.
Any help at all would be appreciated.
Thank you!

Unless you're from certain of the former Soviet republics, visiting Russia as a tourist requires getting a visa in advance -- and the process may be slow and not smooth if the little amount of reading I've done on the subject is accurate.

Hey Guys!
Thanks for all the input I really appreciate it.
The flight is actually not open jaw we are flying in and out of london but we are going to arrive in london and head straight to the other destinations and spend the end of the trip in london and fly out. Not sure if thats a good idea but we are still in the planning stages.
There is no budget as long as its worthwhile. We are not royalty but we don't mind paying for certain things =)
We are interested in everything. Our main interests is sightseeing/culture, art, music, and fooood.
All those places sound great. I have not been to any of those places. Scotland sounds fun and convenient.
The Baltic I have not been to. I will definitely look into the Baltic.
We have about 5 days leftover from 19 days total.
The detailed plan is to arrive in london, head straight to belgium, go to paris, find a third destination, and then spend the last couple days in london and fly back home.

hi choiboy,
depending on the time of year, [and your inclination/interests] you could either catch the TGV to Avignon [or even Nice] and explore the south of France, and then fly from Nice to London, or fly to Edinburgh and thence to London.
there is also a recent thread by someone who spent a great 5 days in Luxembourg, which you could squeeze in between Belgium and Paris.
strange, but true.

OK - now weknow yourentire tripis 19 days -- so you really don't have enough time for "5 free days"
From the 19 days (assuming that doesn't include your travel day to London) you need to subtract 1 day for your arrival/jetlag/getting settled. Then pretty much 1 day every time you move from one city or country to another. And your last day is just for getting to the airport and flying home.
So your 19 days is more like 15-16 days free for sites/exploring.
By 'France' do you mean just Paris or are you visiting other areas? You have approx 2.5 weeks - that is just about right for Belgium, Paris and London.
