Ingo, I am enjoying these pictures so much! You can well imagine that I am ecstatic over the fresco photographs! They are wonderful. My favorites are those in the church at Erlenbach. I could weep with wanting to be there! Also love looking at the church architecture of Adelboden, Boltigen, and Speiz. In Speiz, numbers 76 and 86 are two different churches? yes? no? One one more--tell me, please, about "pietra-rasa plaster."
And as for Thun, the pictures brought back memories of how beautiful a town I thought it was years ago. I am so pleased to see that it has only become more so. Later, and thank you for sharing your trip with us; you have made my day! J.

Thanks jw! Yes, Thun is a gem. It rivals Lucerne and is by far not as touristy. Sure, Lucerne has more to offer.
The pics 76 and 80 show the same church.
Oh, I guess my English is not good enough to explain "pietra-rasa plaster". Maybe one of the experts on this Forum could help me out ... Let me see if I can find anything in English in the internet.
