Ingo checking in from Switzerland

Hi folks, especially the Switzerland bunch!

Arrived today in the Engadin - stay in St. Moritz (I know, I know, not a charming village!). But I have a room on the 5th floor with southwest orientation and great views.

Weather is fantastic, the colours of the leaves are amazing!! Snow on the mountain tops (quite much, btw) and blue lakes ... Have never before seen such colours ... will take lots of photos.

Well, time to have dinner ...

Later, Ingo

Hello Ingo,

Any village in Switzerland is charming. Enjoy your time there. Love the blue lakes...ahhhhh.

Happy travels!

Ahhh, dear Ingo, on behalf of "the Swiss bunch" - we all hate you

Have fun, and we're looking forward to the pictures...

Saxons are the best . If everywhere would be like Dresden we wouldn't have any problems. Have fun!
Greetings from Bavaria

Ingo! You've absolutely made my Saturday morning coffee time!!! What a kick! Tell all. Someday when I can afford to retire from teaching, I'll be able to travel in the fall. Which is better for Switzerland, September or October? And what's on the menu? Axel at the Hotel Panorama tells me that this is wild game season. Love from J.

Hi all,

thanks for the nice responses.

Btw, logos, stayed overnight in Farchant, just a few km from Garmisch, in an cute small hotel - loved it. Had my share of Bavaria

It is an unbelievable weather with golden, blue, white, green colors - but I heard from locals that this is not unusual here.

Spent the day in the Fex valley/Sils. Oh my gosh ... amazing. Took too many photos ...

Food is great too! Yes, it is wild game season. I booked half board - that means dinner included, which is buffet style (hm, can choose from 4 restaurants in the hotel, so far only checked the "Stüva&quot. Salad buffet, antipasti buffet, choices of main courses, dessert buffet. (The latter made me gain some pounds

Will post later this week. Tomorrow is Soglio on the agenda.

Regards to all,

Ingo

Ingo...You are so lucky! You've got the best weather that Switzerland has had the whole year. Blue skies every day and the fall colours! Enjoy!
