Ingo - are you around???

I found a thread from 2002 where you had posted a large number of photos of your travels in Switzerland on a site called cartoga. I couldn't make it work at all. Don't know whether I'm stupid or things have changed. Can you direct me to the location of your photos please.
I might add that I am planning my whole Swiss trip around the marvellous advice on Fodors - and especially yours and a couple of others. We are booked into Pension Val Tuoi and I am hoping you have some photos of it in your collection.
Many thanks
Sally

Hi salthegal,

On one of your earlier posts, I gave you a link to Ingo's pages at Virtual Tourist. Did you find them? His pages are extensive, with lots of details, instructions, & descriptions (though not so many photos). You can also contact Ingo through his VT mailbox.

Hi all,

thanks for the nice words ;-) Unfortunately the website cartogra.com is not available anymore and the photos I posted are gone with them.

As swandav (Hi!) wrote you can see pictures on my Virtualtourist pages. Here is the link for my Scuol page, where you find the hotel tip on Pension Val Tuoi in Guarda:

I just saw there is only one picture. I think I have two or three more, which I will post on this site today.

Another traveller has stayed in Pension Val Tuoi upon my recommendation and you can see her page here:

Glad I'm not mad! I was really confused (and more than a little cheated) about that photo site. Yes, I read all of Ingo's report. How much I owe to all of the travellers who have given me such excellent advice. Thank you all, particularly Ingo and Swandav.
One last question (today anyway!)- where can I go ballooning in Switzerland or northern Italy??

Happy Easter to everyone.

Hi salthegal,

Chateau d'Oex (www.chateau-doex.ch) is a huge ballooning center, home of a few ballooning world records. It's not cheap to do it though. Chateau d'Oex is not far from Gstaad.

Have fun!

Thanks Swandav. That looks awesome. I know it's expensive but I would rather economise in other areas so we can do that. It will be an unforgettable experience.
We haven't been away for 3 years so this is a big trip.
We leave on June 2 and I suspect I will have more questions before that!

Cheers
Sally
