Spent three nights at the Lyon-Mulhouse 12/1999. Metro stop-Bastille. Very happy with the hotel and location.

Yes! Three of us just stayed at Lyon Mulhouse (pronounced mull-OOSE) Mar 21-24. We had a great room on the 4th floor (#26) with two full-length windows opening onto small balconies, from which we could see the Bastille column. Our room was very large, with two double beds, desk, chairs, amroire, phone, color tv w/remote, bath w/shower and hairdryer. They do have an elevator.

The desk clerks were VERY nice and friendly and spoke perfect English. This is a wonderful, inexpensive place to stay. It's only 1/4 block from the Bastille metro (turn left as you exit the metro car). There is a BNP bank w/3 ATMs right on the corner.

Have a great time in Paris, we did!
Sandy

Oh! I forgot to add . . . we paid 560 francs for the triple, which was about $78, including taxes but did not include breakfast (30 fr, $4.15).

Sandy

It's stupid me again, when you exit the metro car, turn RIGHT (you know, my other left), then when you're going along the metro tunnel and it comes to a "Y," take the RIGHT tunnel to Beaumarchais . . . that will put you out on the correct side of the street for the Lyon M.

Sorry, I have a hard time w/left and right!
Sandy
