IJselmeer cycling

Does anybody know of a company that runs cycle tours, with baggage transfer, around the IJsselmeer in Holland? I've tried to contact some through the Web but none have replied so far.
Any help gratefully accepted.

Addy,
If you're proficient in Dutch, check the ANWB's website at
www.anwb.nl/city/ok-gnq1b/anwb.htm, then click on "Fietsen" - cycling. The ANWB has published a leaflet for each of over one hundred tours of the Netherlands. In conjunction with the Stichting Fiets Association, the ANWB has also put together over a dozen cycling guides most of which include tours. If you're not proficient in Dutch, you might write the ANWB at Koninklijke Nederlandsche Toeristenbond (Royal Dutch Touring Club), Wassenaarseweg 220, Postbus 93200, 2509 BA, Den Haag, Netherlands.

Try: http://www.amsterdamfordummies.nl/
transport section for useful links.
One company that does trips (including an IJsselmeer trip; they call it the Golden Circle) is Cycletours: http://www.cycletours.com/

Sjoerd

Thank you for your replies regarding cycling around the IJselmeer.
I enjoyed the website"Amsterdam for dummies" and have bookmarked this.
In the mean time I have been contacted by some of the firms Like Golden Circle, but did not get anywhere because of a misunderstanding. So we have decided to cycle the Afsluitdijk instead.
AddyO
I just received the new booklet of Accor Hotel Group and yes, they have a cycle tour around the Ijsselmeer. I translate in brief the contents:
"Mercure Hotel Postiljon Arnhem and Deventer offer the possibility to discover the beautiful Ijsselmeer and surroundings. You will cross the Ijssel by ferry at least 7 times so you will see the river from every corner.
The arrangement includes: coffee or tea on arrival, 4 x bed and (buffet) breakfast, 4 x 3 course dinner, 2 x baggage transport and route descriptions as well as 15 guilders change for the ferry !!!
This arrangement can be made from April 17th until August 28th."
Their website is www.accor.nl and I can assure you that Mercure and Postiljon hotels offer very good quality.
