Our new poster booked a last-minute, non-refundable trip without a valid passport in hand... Interesting order of things.

It's amazing that someone has the ability to search and find a 5 year old thread about passports and Charleston on the Fodor's Europe board but can't do the work to search and learn that you should have a passport before booking a flight that leaves in a week.

Perhaps sadallas didn't know that she needed a passport when she booked?

This posting is nearly 6 years old and was due to the chaos that travelers were experiencing in obtaining passports at that time as a result in the laws changing. The problem no longer exists. I no longer have any numbers that i referenced having when i originally started this thread. If you are having problems getting a passport and think that members of this forum can help, please start a new topic. Thanks!
