Identifying photos in Madrid
I just came back from a lovely trip to Spain. I am looking over my photos and I see 2 that I am unable to identify. One is a 3-part archway, the other is a fountain on one of Madrid's many roundabouts. I believe one of the figures is holding a trident. Any help you can give me in helping to identify the photos would be greatly appreciated.

The fountain has to be The Fountain of Neptune in Plaza de Canovas del Castillo. It was built as part of El Prado architectural complex (1784?) and originally placed looking at the fountain Plaza de las Cibeles. It was moved at a later time to its present location.

About the three-part archway, I am willing to bet it is the Puerta de Toledo. However, there is another one, less known, but that also fits the description, Puerta de San Vicente. You mind googleing both and let us know, which one is the one in your picture?
Hope we hear more on your trip to Spain !!
