Iconography
I will be travelling in Poland and am would like to purchase some iconography to bring back. I guess the first question is - where could I find vintage iconography and secondly - are there any restrictions on bringing it back to the States?

If you mean Orthodox icons they are mostly to be found in eastern Poland toward the Ukraine border. There is I believe one Polish Orthodox Church in Krakow that is open limited hours but who can likely provide some guidance. They do have a gift shop.
Unlike the Russian Federation Poland has few such export restrictions.

Sorry, No I don't recall the name but it is close to the Old Town area, a few doors down from the Hotel Pollera which was the German military HQ and later the Soviet Army HQ during WW 2. I think it is the only Orthodox Church is Krakow.
Try writing to the of the Polish Orthodox Church website. You will likely find Russian Orthodox Icons from local outlets. There is also a TI office just inside the walls. Have fun
