Iceland Itinerary Help
Hi,
My husband and I are traveling to Iceland Nov 17- 26.
Please advise on how to best structure our days and where to stay.
We are interested in seeing Blue Lagoon, Ice Caves (need reco), Glaciers, Horse Back riding, Northern lights, dog sledding. I am just beginning to do research, so please any itinerary suggestion is greatly appreciated.
Please also recommend hotels, restaurants etc.
Thank you!

Are you planning to drive very far out of Reykjavik?
If so, you might take a look at this:

And this:

I can suggest some accommodation options once you decide on an itinerary.

Below please see our itinerary that needs lots of help, written out by exact days that we will be in Iceland. We do plan on renting a car.
We would like to visit Jökulsárlón during our stay. Should we spend a couple of days there? Where should we stay thats good & close by?
We would also like to see Ice Caves (need reco), horseback riding, dog sledding and see Northern Lights.
In what manner would you recommend we structure out trip:
Day 1: November 18:
Land in Reykjavik, go to Blue Lagoon on first day, then drive to hotel? Need hotel reco's in Reykjavik please
Day 2: November 19: Do day trip out of Reykjavik to Greenhouse Village - Thundering Waves - Geothermal Lagoon
Day 3: November 20:
Day 4: November 21:
Day 5: November 22:
Day 6: November 23:
Day 7: November 24:
Day 8: November 25:
Day 9: November 26:
Depart Home
Thank you in advance for your help!

Are you talking about November of this year or 2018? It is pretty late for getting accommodations booked if you mean November of this year. Also, have you read up on the dangers of winter driving in Iceland? It's sure not something I would want to do.

There's only one place to stay that I'm aware of near Jökulsárlón and that's Foss Hotel at Glacier Lagoon.
We liked the City Park Hotel in Reykjavik. The rooms were very small and it's about a 20 minute walk to though, so maybe not the best choice in winter. They had the best breakfast we had in all of Iceland though.
I think you'll get a lot more help if you post over on Trip Advisor - they have a very active Iceland forum and a lot of locals post there.
