Iberia Airline Experience?

We have the opportunity to fly trans-Atlantic with our AA miles on Iberia (Business Class). Have read some really negative comments about Iberia here. Any recent comments, positive or negative?

have not flown busines class with them but the only thing i used to notice with iberia is the prima donna attitude of some of the women attendants.

but nowadays.. can´t think of anything to put them apart from others .. except perhaps a lack of info at airports when there is a problem.

we fly them all the time because we live in spain..

i guess i don´t expect much from airlines anymore!! but in business class.. would be different story! i hope someone who has used them for that class can chip in.

Thanks, lincasanova. I, too, hope that someone with Business Class experience on Iberia will chip in!

I also live in Spain so often take Iberia. If I can choose between BA and Iberia, I would always go for BA as I agree with lincasanova that the flight attendants can be pretty snotty.
So saying, I was once very luckily upgraded on an Iberian flight from Jo'berg to Madrid from Economy to Business class, and I have to say that it was FANTASTIC! The flight attendants were charming, the food fantastic and the seats very comfortable! So, I would say if you are fortunate enough to be able to fly Business with them, go for it!!

I was upgrade to Business class on Iberia after being told that my flight was oversold/overbooked from Madrid to Chicago.I stood my ground and finally was booked Madrid to New York and then home on US airwauys.
What can I say?It was an incredible treat! The seat turns into a bed with lovely regular pillow and blanket, The TV is at your fingertips, the food was great as were the drinks-I forget how many wines there were! The bathroom is so much bigger and you get a zippered bag full of wonderful toiletries! The service was oh so different compared to other experiences with Iberia.
Go to their website and look up the business class amenities!!!!!
I am spoiled for ever! This is the way to fly to Europe! Iberia, you are forgiven!
