I need an airline ticket quickly -

I need to purchase an airline ticket to use next week. From the midwest to Denver. I have never used any of the services such as travelocity or expedia. Any recommendations?
Thanks j

You probably won't get many responses here on the Europe board--try the US or airline forum. You could also do a search (on either of those two) for Expedia, Travelocity, Orbitz, or even Priceline, which will likely give you the best rates for a last-minute flight.

I use Expedia regularly and have never had a problem. You can get an E ticket and print it out yourself. Very quick!

I suspect Travelocity is just as good. I've never used it because when I've looked, Expedia beat their prices. They change quickly so check as many venues as possible.

Take your E ticket to the checkin and they will give you a boarding pass. Some airlines will allow you to check in via a little computer at the airport and at least one allows you to check in at home.

If this is your first try, you might want to be conservative until you are comfortable with all this. (They do have people to help you with the airport computers.)

Good luck and don't forget to confirm.

Jan, I have a recommendation: You'll probably get more responses if you post this question on the United States board; this is the Europe board. For your ticket search, try Orbitz and Priceline. If you decide to do a PL bid, go first to biddingfortravel.com and study, study, study the bidding technique--all the info you need is there.
