Thank you to observer and Leslie for your kind words. I don't feel quite so much the fodorite reject now!<BR><BR>Diane, actually had looked at the CastelBigozzi as an option. The fact that it's a restored castle would please my family greatly, and I was really hoping to book it. But the site says it's a 3 night minimum, and we're only there 1 night. But tried to see if it was available anyway and sent them an email. No reply, and that was about 5 days ago. I'm getting on edge about this because we leave 2 weeks from Friday.<BR><BR>Though there were many kind replies regarding the Siena area, we would prefer to stay a little north of that, and Strove and Monteriggioni sounded perfect. <BR><BR>How many nights did you stay?
