It looks like I'll have to open one of the packages of bellota I've been hoarding before heading back to Spain next week. All this talk has made me hungry!

amsdon, hello (very busy due to work related trips... which is great given the economy). What is "hurok"? Ojander, wet is whet although whet, hopefully, wets one's appetite too.

The reference to Hurok is a little ongoing joke I share with Maribel & Scrunchy. Sol Hurok was an impresario who managed many great artists & produced many great concerts http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sol_Hurok. The joke is I periodically refer to us as the Hurok girls or Hurok sisters since we seem to be concert going, foodies (and jamon loving at that!) I am afraid any Hurok sisietrs adventure would have to be led by Maribel. who else?

amsdon, Too bad Fodors doesn't give out money for cool travels otherwise I would nominate you, Scrunchy and Maribel. With your knowledge of Flamenco and scruchy's ability to sample cuisine every few weeks and, let's face it, Maribel has literally written a book (or two or three!) on travels, it could be an interesting trip report read!!
