Help! Please! <BR> <BR>I have the country code for France which is 33, and someone provided me with phone #'s to call to inquire about availability for a B&B in the Bayeaux area. However, I must be doing something wrong. Don't I just dial 33 and the remaining #s provided? I keep getting a recording saying that the number is disconnected, and I'm sure that isn't the case. <BR> <BR>Please answer real soon! <BR> <BR>Thanks <BR>Jean

To dial Bayeux you need to dial <BR>011-33-2 followed by the 8-digit French number. <BR> <BR>

You have to dial 011 first than 33

This seems like such simple, yet essential, information, but in our local phone book, you can find out how to do almost anything (including escape a tsunami), except place an international call!

Well, the call is made and I have reservations. <BR> <BR>But the frustration of trying to find a phone # of a phone company is difficult enough, much less having to endure the non-ending "menus" and not a real person.
