How to get the best accomodation in Prague?

Mike,

I stayed at the Hotel Salvator last Oct. for 3 nights. It's about a 5 min. walk to the old square and you pass a great open market on the way. It was very clean with a great staff and good breakfast, but not luxurious. Look at the link below for all sorts of Prague hotel info. Have a wonderful time, it's a beautiful city!! -Sandi

http://www.andel3w.dk/prague/english/prag10.htm

It may be too late to get in, but we are staying at U Tri Pstrosu (The House of the Three Ostriches) right at the castle side of the bridge. We missed staying there last time, but visited it and can't wait to stay there this summer. Talk about atmosphere!! We are paying $180 for a deluxe room on the top floor in summer. Might be less now? It's a very small 4 star hotel. Look at www.ctg.cz/hotels/pstros/ If you are interested, try to book by email direct with them: [email protected]
Check AVE Accommodations at www.avetravel.cz They have good listings in all price ranges. We told them our requirements & they found us a great place.
